Privacy Policy
Last updated: 10-25-2026This explains what Crowsfoot ("we") collects and how it's handled.
What stays in your browser
Drawing, importing SQL, and exporting files (PNG, SVG, SQL, JSON, Markdown) all happen in your browser. Your current diagram is also kept in your browser's local storage so it survives a refresh. If you never sign in, your diagrams are not sent to our servers.
What we store if you sign in
- Account information: your email address and basic sign-in details from the method you choose (for example, your GitHub account identifier and profile name).
- Saved diagrams: the diagrams you choose to save to the cloud, including table and column names, types, relationships, and any SQL queries you imported into them.
Who processes it
Account and diagram data is stored with Supabase (database and authentication). The site is hosted and delivered by Cloudflare. If you sign in with GitHub, GitHub handles that sign-in under its own policies. We do not sell your data.
Cookies, analytics, and ads
We currently use no analytics or advertising trackers. Browser storage is used to keep you signed in and to save your work locally. If this changes, we'll update this page first.
Please don't enter sensitive data
Crowsfoot is for database structure, not data. Don't enter passwords, keys, personal data, or other confidential information. See the Terms of Use.
Security
We use encrypted connections and access controls so signed-in users can only read their own diagrams. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You can delete any saved diagram in the app. To delete your account and its data, or to ask what we hold about you, email [CONTACT EMAIL]. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA.
Children
The Service isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy and will change the date above when we do. Questions: [CONTACT EMAIL]
