Terms of Use
Last updated: 10-25-2026Crowsfoot ("the Service", "we") is a tool for designing database diagrams, By using the Service you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
1. What the Service is for
Crowsfoot is meant for database design: table names, column names, types, and relationships. Do not enter passwords, API keys, access tokens, personal data, health or payment data, or other confidential or regulated information, whether in diagrams, SQL you paste, or names and comments. Use placeholder or example names if your real schema is sensitive.
2. Your content
You keep ownership of the diagrams and SQL you create. You give us permission to store, process, and display them only as needed to run the Service for you. You are responsible for having the right to use any content you enter.
3. Security and your responsibility
We use reasonable measures to protect saved diagrams, including encrypted connections and access controls so that signed-in users can only read their own diagrams. However, no online service is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee that your content will never be lost, corrupted, or accessed by someone else. You are responsible for deciding what you put into the Service and for keeping your own backups (use the export features).
4. Accounts
You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in methods secure. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
5. Acceptable use
Don't misuse the Service: no attempts to break, overload, or reverse-engineer it, access other people's data, or use it for anything unlawful.
6. No warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. Generated SQL, diagrams, and documentation may contain mistakes. Review them before using them in production.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or business, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US$25 if you paid nothing. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.
8. Changes and termination
We may change or discontinue the Service, or suspend accounts that break these terms. We'll try to give notice of significant changes. You can stop using the Service at any time and may ask us to delete your account.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of The United States of America, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
